  Went to this store today to have a piece of plywood cut for an indoor project. Gave the guy a 3" x 5" index card with the specific dimensions I needed it cut -- 22-3/4" x 35". They gave me the worst piece of plywood I've ever seen -- full of knots and near-holes, which is disheartening, as I'm using this material for something I'm doing in my home. Worst of all, when I got home and measured it, they'd cut the wood to 25" x 45" ... NOT the dimensions I gave them, WRITTEN ON A CARD. And the guy veered at least a half inch off his own chalk line, so it's not a straight cut. I'll never go to this location to get wood again, even though I'm on the east side and it's the closest place for me to buy lumber. I paid them $20 for a crappy piece of plywood, and to cut it for me. Now, we have to cut it ourselves so it will fit in the space I'm trying to put it. I'll go to Frontier (where they DO know what they're doing) from now on. Pretty bad when you give them WRITTEN instructions on what size to cut a piece of wood, and they can't even get it right with the size listed in front of them, and cut it 10" longer than what you asked for. Aren't there numbers on the saw stand? Save yourself the time and trouble and go anywhere other than Carter's if you need a cut piece of wood.
